Need:

  • Control of where things go based on label
  • More redundant file handling

Why:

  • AI node in the works. AI workloads need to go on NPU only.
  • Old zpool is stuck on ss. SS needs a rebuild and rename but data is stuck on it for now. Certain services will need to remain on ss.
  • Currently planning for new compute nodes. SS might become SAN. Have to figure it out.

Additionally:

  • zpool being restructured because it was chock full of Docker bloat. I'm cleaning the directories up, and need a clean slate to migrate into.
